The Brazil works on the same principle as all coffee presses. It combines loose leaf yerba mate (or coarse ground coffee) with hot--never boiling water for yerba (or water that is just off of a boil for coffee). This combination along with 4 minutes of extraction time allows the mate's flavors and nutrients to be completely extracted so you get a balanced and flavorful cup of yerba each time. After 4 minutes, just press and enjoy. There are no paper filters to worry about and cleanup is a snap. The 8 Cup Press is 32 oz and yields 8 - 4 oz.cups of yerba mate or coffee. |
